Every Bengali meal ends with a perfect Chutney, Ombol or Tok most of the time. So here is the perfect Ombol recipe.
Ingredients of Traditional Bengali Recipe Aamer Ombol
- Sliced Raw Mango / Kacha Aam
- Dry Red Chilli – ½ Tea Spoon
- Mustard Seeds – ¼ Tea Spoon
- Sugar – as per your taste
- Turmeric powder – 2 pinches
- Salt – as per your taste
- Mustard oil – 1 table spoon
How to Make Aamer Ombol
Heat the pan and add 1 tbsp mustard oil. Then add 1 dry red chili, ¼ tsp mustard seeds. Add slice raw mango, 2 pinches of turmeric powder, and salt as per your taste. Mixed it well. Close the lid for 10 min in low flame.
After 10 min when mango get boiled add 1 bowl of water. When boiling add 1 table spoon sugar. Now cook in high flame for 3 min.
Put off your gas oven. Let it become cool. Then serve this Traditional Bengali Recipe Aamer Tok at last of lunch.
