Ingredients of Bengali Fish Curry Recipe Bhola Macher Jhaal Farezi

  • 3 Pcs Bhola Mach (Bhola Fish)
  • Sliced Onions (2 Nos. Medium Size)
  • Ginger Garlic Paste
  • Black Cumin Seeds
  • Cumin Powder
  • Salt
  • Mustard Oil
  • Sugar
  • Turmeric Powder
  • Dried Red Chilli
  • Chopped Coriander Leaves
  • Chopped Tomato (1 No. Medium Size)
  • Green Chilli

Directions of How to Cook Bhola Macher Jhaal Farezi


Marinate the Bhola fish with Turmeric powder and Salt.



Deep fry the Bhola mach in mustard oil.



Add dried red chilli and black cumin seeds in hot mustard oil.



Pour the onion slices and fry for upto brown shade.



Add chopped tomato, Green Chilli, 2 tsp Ginger Garlic paste and cook for 5 minutes.



Add Turmeric powder, salt ( as per taste ), cumin powder and cook for 2 minutes.



Add sugar as per taste.



Add some water and close the lid. Cook for 2 minutes.



Add fried bhola fish.



Add chopped coriander leaves and close the lid again. Cook for 5 minutes in sim mode.
