Ingredients of Seviyan Kheer Recipe

  • 1/2 ltr Milk.
  • SIMUI / SEVIYAN / VERMICELLI ( 50 GM ).
  • Cashew.
  • Raisins.
  • Kesar / Saffron.
  • 100 gm Sugar.
  • Ghee.
  • Green Cardamom (Elach).

Directions of How to Cook Simui or Seviyan Kher at Home

Take a bowl and add 2 tbsp milk and some Kesar or saffron.

Add 2 tsp Ghee on hot pan.

Now cook in low flame and add Simui or Semai. Fry it and Stir it regularly for 2 to 3 minutes.

Now add cashew, raisins and Stir it regularly for 2 to 3 minutes.

Now add Milk. Stir it regularly. Cook in high flame until simui becomes boiled.

Add sugar as per your taste. Stir it regularly.

Now add Kesar or Saffron mixture and stir it regularly for 5 minutes. Add green cardamom seeds and cook for 3 to 5 minutes.
