Here is most healthy and tasty recipe dalia khichuri or dalia khichdi. It is very delicious and easy to make with dalia and other vegetables. Let’s watch this Bengali recipe and try to make this dalia khichuri at home.
Ingredients of Healthy Recipe Dalia Khichuri
- 50 gm Moong Dal.
- 100 gm Dalia (Broken Wheat).
- Carrot (Gajar).
- Cauliflower (phool gobi).
- French Beans (Fansi).
- Green Peas (Mutter).
- Chopped Green Chili (Hara Mirch).
- Chopped Tomato (tamatar).
- Turmeric Powder (Haldi).
- Cumin Powder (Jeera).
- Bay Leaves (Tej Patta).
- Dry Red Chili (lal mirch).
- Garam Masala.
- Cumin Seeds (Jeera).
- Small Size Ginger (Adrak).
- Salt and Sugar (Namak and chini).
- Mustard Oil or Refined Oil.
Making of Healthy Recipe Dalia Khichuri
Take a Pan. Add 1 Tbsp Ghee on Hot Pan. After that Add 50 gm Moong dal or Muger Dal. Fry Moong Dal until it becomes brown color. After that add some water. Add all vegetables after boiling the water. Add cauliflower, Carrots, French Beans and Green Peas. Also Add Green Chili. Now close the lid for 5 minutes.
Open the lid. Add 100 gm Dalia. Again close the lid for 5 minutes. Open the lid. Cook until Moong Dal, Dalia and Vegetables Bolied 100 percent.
Add salt as per taste. Add 1 tsp Turmeric powder. Cook for 5 minutes. Take another pan for making tarka or phoron. Add mustard oil or refined oil on hot pan.
Now add Garam Masala, Cumin Seeds, Dry Red Chili and Bay Leaves. Also add Chopped Tomato, Ginger Paste, half tsp cumin seeds and turmeric powder. Now add 1 tbsp sugar. Add some water and mix very well.
Now add that Masala mixture ( Phoron or Tarka ) to Dalia. Mix it well. Finally Add some garam masala powder and 1 tbsp Ghee. Cook for 5 minutes and after ready serve it hot.
