Indian Vegetarian Snacks recipe Green Chilli Pakora is a very spicy evening snacks food. It is also known as Mirchi Pakora or Mirchi Vada. Bengali people known as Lonkar Chop. In this recipe we stuffed Large Green Chilli Pakora with spicy potato mixture. If you like something spicy delicious tea time snacks then you must try this recipe at home.

Ingredients of Green Chilli Pakora

  1. Large green chillies (5 pcs).
  2. Besan / Gram flour (100 gm).
  3. Turmeric powder (¼tsp).
  4. Red chilli powder (¼tsp).
  5. Chopped coriander leaves (2 tbsp).
  6. Chopped green chilli (2 no).
  7. Boiled potato (1 medium size).
  8. Roasted masala powder (¼tsp).
  9. Chaat masala (¼tsp).
  10. Dry mango powder (¼tsp).
  11. Salt (as per your taste).
  12. Refined oil.

Making of Green Chilli Pakora

1Take a pan. Boil potatoes gently. Smash the boiled potatoes very well.



Add chopped coriander leaves, chopped green chilli, ¼ tsp roasted masala powder, ¼ tsp dry mango powder, ¼ tsp salt and ¼ tsp chaat masala in smashed potato. Mix it very well.

3Cut all green chilies from one side. Take a small spoon and remove all the seeds and the pith. Stuff the all green chilli very well with potato mixture.



Add 100 gm gram flour in a big bowl. Add ¼ tsp turmeric powder, ¼ tsp red chilli powder, and salt to taste. Add water slowly and make smooth and thick batter.



Take a pan. Now heat oil. Deep the stuffed green chilli in batter and deep fry in oil.


Lonkar Chop or Mirchi Pakora is ready. Serve hot Large Green Chilli Pakora with Mori, Chutney or Sauce.
