Bengali Traditional Recipe Chuno Macher Chorchori is very special Spicy dry small fish curry. In this Chorchori recipe we can use any type of small fish or chuno mach like Amudi Mach, Punti Mach, Mourala Mach, Kachki Mach etc. I used Amudi fish and seasonal vegetables for make this chochchori.

Ingredients of Choto Macher Chorchori

  1. Amudi Mach / Punti Maach / Gang Mourola Chuno macher chorchori recipe - Bengali macher chochchori
  2. Brinjal
  3. Cauli Flower
  4. Radish
  5. Runner Beans
  6. Green Chilli
  7. Mustard Oil
  8. Salt
  9. Sugar
  10. Cumin Powder
  11. Bay Leaves.
  12. Black Cumin Seeds
  13. Mustard Oil
  14. Dry Red Chilli
  15. Red Chili Powder.

Making of Bengali Chuno Macher Chorchori

Take any type of small fish. Clean and wash very well the Chuno Fish or Kachki Maach. After washing add some turmeric powder, salt and mix it very well with chuno maach.

Take a hot pan. Add Mustard Oil on Hot Pan. Heat the Mustard Oil very well and Fry all mourola maach. Again add some oil and heat the oil. Add Bay Leaves, half Tsp Black Cumin Seeds, 2 Pcs Dry Red Chilli. Now add sliced runner beans, Cauli flower, Radish and cook for few minutes. After that add Brinjal, Green Chilli, 1 tsp turmeric powder and mix it well. Close the lid and cook for 5 minutes in low flame.

After 5 minutes open the lid and check salt as per your taste. Also add some red chilli powder, half tsp cumin powder and some water. Close the lid and cook for 5 minutes.

Add some coriander leaves and cook it for 5 minutes. After that most mouthwatering Chochori recipe is ready. Serve hot with spreading coriander leaves.
